Meet the flower wrangler

Our story

Hi, I'm Sara (she/her), the heart and hands behind The Flower Wrangler—a flower farm and community space rooted in sustainability, community, and the simple beauty of nature.

My partner and I took over a 10-acre degraded property in the Pemberton Valley in 2021 and have been working since then to turn it into the farm of our dreams. This year, we transformed a 1/2-acre portion into a flower field (including a barn move!) and started the Flower Wrangler.

From seed to stem, everything we grow is done with care for the earth and an eye for beauty and unique flower varieties. We use sustainable practices to cultivate seasonal, farm-fresh flowers that reflect the rhythm of nature and the soul of our local community.

With a horticulture diploma from the University of Guelph, studies in restoration ecology from the University of Victoria, and training from Floret and Dr. Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web School, I bring both science and soul to everything I grow. My work blends ecological stewardship with artistic expression, and my goal is simple: to grow flowers and community.

At The Flower Wrangler, flowers are just the beginning. We host hands-on workshops, private events, and creative gatherings that invite all folks to slow down, connect, and create something meaningful. Whether you're here to make a bouquet, celebrate a milestone, or simply spend time outdoors, you’re welcome exactly as you are.

This work is about more than flowers—it's about fostering joy, creativity, and connection. It’s about teaching, learning, and growing together. And it’s about finding beauty in simplicity, season by season.

Thanks for being here. I can't wait to share the magic of the farm with you.

Grown with care

We are a specialty cut flower farm using ecological growing practices on 10 acres, located just minutes from Pemberton’s town centre. Our farm offers 95 varieties of flowers, including 1,200 dahlias.

Our flower farm isn’t just a place to pick blooms — it’s a space to connect. Through small workshops and seasonal events, we invite you to slow down, get your hands a little dirty, and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something beautiful. For us, the beauty of this place isn’t just in the flowers — it’s in the moments shared that grow here.

Our farm is also full of life beyond the flowers—shared with three horses, a flock of chickens, two dogs, and a very opinionated cat.
